Our Story
The idea for QLD School Reports came from a simple observation: every term, teachers across Queensland spend 20-40 hours writing report comments. That's up to a full working week spent on administrative tasks rather than teaching.
As educators ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way. We also knew that any solution would need to maintain the high standards that QLD teachers and parents expect. Generic, template-based comments wouldn't cut it.
That's when we turned to artificial intelligence - not to replace teachers' expertise and judgment, but to augment it. By training AI models specifically on Queensland Department of Education guidelines, QCAA requirements, and best practices in educational feedback, we created a tool that could help teachers work smarter, not harder.
